INDEX A. - Modena Recreational and Cultural Association

The Index Association was founded in 2019 with the aim of organizing cultural and recreational events in the fields of education, tourism, and social promotion.
Particularly in the world of photography, comics and local cuisine.

Objectives of the Association

• the dissemination of knowledge, culture, and history through educational, recreational, and promotional activities using both digital and physical materials and media, both traditionally and online;
• contribute to the social, cultural, and civil development of citizens and to the ever-widening diffusion of democracy and solidarity in human relationships, as well as to the practice and defense of civil liberties, both individual and collective;
• organize events, workshops, fairs and markets, conferences, training courses, tastings, competitions, press conferences, and conventions aimed at achieving the social purpose;
• make proposals to public bodies to promote and disseminate the aforementioned activities;
• organize educational activities aimed at members for research and in-depth study of topics related to the institutional activities promoted;
• promotion, dissemination and practice of all cultural, tourist, recreational and free time activities in order to foster contacts between members and to complete training programmes, to implement study initiatives;
• organization and promotion of conferences, congresses, trips, courses, study centers and training in the educational, recreational, tourist, photographic, artistic and leisure fields;
• publishing and distribution of books, magazines, comics and any other periodical or aperiodic publication connected to the activities indicated above;
• carry out commercial transactions in compliance with the regulations in force regarding non-commercial entities, such as preparatory and/or related commercial activities, obviously respecting the provisions of the laws and regulations in force on the matter;
• The association's activities and its goals are inspired by the principles of equal opportunities between men and women and respect for the inviolable rights of the person, for the construction of a secular and democratic society in which individual freedoms and human and civil rights are recognized, promoted and guaranteed without discrimination based on religion, political beliefs or sexual orientation, gender identity and any other personal and social condition, and in which the personality of each individual can be realized in a context of peace and a serene relationship with the social and natural environment.
