With the patronage

Among Modena's highlights are numerous restaurants where cooking is almost an art.

Let's then entrust the dissemination of this excellence to another art, photography, with the aim of reminding Italian and foreign tourists of the best of Modena's culinary art, encouraging them to return to visit our city.

Circulating and sharing quality images on digital media is essential to staying visible and continuing to attract new visitors to our city.

With the event "Photography for Modena," 7 non-professional photographers (but who aspire to become one) will allow 7 restaurants in Modena to showcase 7 of their most renowned dishes.

A visual journey through the variety of colors, shapes, and ingredients of Modena's cuisine, where the imagination of great chefs will be captured by the lenses of young photographers.

Three objectives:

• to offer 7 restaurants in Modena the opportunity to showcase 7 of their dishes, with original, exciting, high-quality images.
• to offer 7 non-professional photographers the opportunity to showcase their technical and creative skills.
• Bring together restaurateurs and photographers to create future professional relationships, also taking advantage of digital communication, to benefit Modena's gastronomic excellence and continue, also in the future, to capture attention
  of the world on Modena.

To make:

• a set of 7 postcards to send or collect, selecting the most significant photo for each restaurant.
• an exhibition of 49 works (seven photographs for each of the seven restaurants) displayed in the restaurants.
• A digital media campaign to raise awareness among foreign and Italian tourists who have visited Modena in the past and encourage them to return and rediscover our local cuisine.
