The first interactive digital book on Shodo, the way of Japanese calligraphy, with images and video lessons by Master Norio Nagayama: over 100 photos, illustrations and haiku; 70 videos on the fundamental strokes and kanji exercises in kaisho; seals, kanji spelling rules, sayings of the Masters. A manual to discover, know and learn Japanese writing.
" This digital book is the update of the first book I published in Italy.
This new interactive form of "making books" being able to also insert videos, allows to overcome the big limitation of traditional books, that is the lack of direct relationship with the teacher through which to observe the rhythm and learn the intuition and the gesture.
This book, in teaching the first rudiments, is an introduction to the practice of calligraphy as a life practice, but it can also be useful to those interested in writing our language and understanding the technique of our art. "
